CHARGE SENSOR

$180.00

Used to measure the amount of charge on a source when the charge available is very small e.g. As in many electrostatic experiments.

It can replace a traditional gold leaf electroscope by showing not only the polarity of the charge but also performing quantitive measurements. It can also measure the potential difference between two points.

Additionally the sensor can function as a very high resistance (at least 10 to the power of 12 Ohms), accurate voltmeter. Six ranges, 3 for different charge intensities and 3 for voltage.

Ideal for measuring charges developed by rubbing acetate, polythene or ebonite rods.
