GAS PRESSURE – DIFFERENTIAL 200KPA

$115.00

This sensor measures the differential pressure between its two ports.

If one port is open to the atmosphere then the sensor measures pressure relative to the atmospheric pressure.

With both ports open to the atmosphere, the reading is 0.

Blowing into one port will produce a positive value, whereas blowing into the other port will produce a negative value.

Empowering educators worldwide, from schools and libraries to renowned institutes.

The future of education is here, and it fits right in the palm of your hand. Give your students the gift of engaging, interactive, and collaborative learning experiences with our SmartSchool Systems Microscope solutions.

Applications:

Physics-

  • Temperature/volume relationships
  • Boyle’s Law (pressure vs. volume)

Chemistry-

  • Rates of reaction where a gas is evolved

Ranges:

  • Range 1: ±200 kPa (Resolution: 0.1 kPa)
  • Range 2: ±30 psi (Resolution: 0.02 psi)

The Differential Gas Pressure sensors have 2 ports. The external diameters of the ports are tapered from 4 to 4.3 mm.

The sensor element has automatic internal temperature compensation so that changes in room temperature do not affect readings

The user manual has a recommendation chart for the ‘best’ sensor to use for different gas pressure investigations.

Works with the following Dataloggers:

VHub4 and VHub8
