GAS PRESSURE – ABSOLUTE 700KPA

$125.00

This sensor measures the total pressure on a system.

When the single port is left open, then the sensor measures the atmospheric pressure.

However when the sensor is connected to a sealed system, then it adds the system’s pressure effect (negative or positive) to the atmospheric value.

Features:

  • Referenced to a pre calibrated vacuum zero
  • Gives the absolute pressure relative to a fixed zero
  • Temperature compensation of electronics

Empowering educators worldwide, from schools and libraries to renowned institutes.

The future of education is here, and it fits right in the palm of your hand. Give your students the gift of engaging, interactive, and collaborative learning experiences with our SmartSchool Systems Microscope solutions.

Applications:

Earth Science-

  • Atmospheric pressure measurements
  • Altimeter

Physics-

  • Boyle’s Law
  • Vapour pressure of liquids

Chemistry-

  • Gas Laws

Ranges:

  • Range 1: 0 to 700 kPa Absolute (Resolution: 0.3 kPa)
  • Range 2: 0 to 100 psi (Resolution: 0.1 psi)

This sensor is suitable for experiments requiring a wider pressure range e.g. Boyles Law and Balloon burst investigations.

The sensor element has automatic internal temperature compensation so that changes in room temperature do not affect readings.

The user manual has a recommendation chart for the ‘best’ sensor to use for different gas pressure investigations.

Works with the following Dataloggers:

VHub4 and VHub8
