“It takes photographs, video clips, time lapse, operates as a webcam, and has a measurement
feature. It is so easy to use that my four-year-olds mastered it in one day! It is durable, and the price is right. I leave it out and the students are able to use it independently. I have other technological tools, such as iPads, [a] projector, [an iPod] Nano, flip cameras, and digital cameras—but my
favorite … tool is the SmartScope!” by

"I apologize..... :)
I totally doubted these microscopes when I got the email and thought "whatever! They're going to sit in the closet like the other ones because they'll be too hard to use.."
I was totally wrong....they ARE super EASY! :)" -- Library Media Specialist by

These forces may be static, like the constant force of gravity pulling at your feet, or dynamic - caused by moving or vibrating the accelerometer.
More Product Information
There are 2 accelerometer sensors, one recording accelerations to a maximum of 10g and one recording accelerations to a maximum of 50g.
The lower range sensor can record in acceleration in one of 3 axis or the resultant force of the 3 axis. It will also measure vibration forces and angle.
The higher range sensor is restricted to 2 axis and resultant forces of both axis.
Both sensors will show the acceleration as multiples of g or as m/s2.
Low g Accelerometer
RANGES:
±2.5g 3 axis (xyz)
